Harriet is a Sapphire Winter White. She was born in September 2008 and despite being very small when we got her, she has now turned into a great big pudding sumo hamster!
We originally were planning to mate her to one of our Winter White males, but they were too old and unfortunately Kipton died in January, by which time she herself was a bit old for a first litter so we're not going to bother.
She has done quite well at shows, winning her class a few times and getting BIS Junior!
Unfortunately Harriet has had some bleeding in her left eye recently, so she has to have drops in it.
She is very fast, and loves running on her Silent Spinner wheel and eating!
